MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships encourage young researchers to stay in Europe, and attract researchers from all around the world. They are awarded to researchers with a PhD who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills and/or explore new areas.

The programme offers 3 types of fellowships :

  • European Postdoctoral Fellowships  are open to researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from another part of the world to pursue their research career. These fellowships can last between 1 and 2 years. Researchers of any nationality can apply.

  • Global fellowships : 12 to 24 months in a Third Country + 1 year mandatory return phase in Europe. This programme enables young researchers to spend two years training outside of Europe before returning for one year in their European host institution. Only nationals or long-term residents of the EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries can apply.

  • CIVIS3i Postdoctoral fellowships : 2 years of postdoctoral fellowships are offered to conduct research in one of the four universities, members of the CIVIS alliance : Aix-Marseille University (AMU, France), Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB, Belgium), Sapienza Universitá di Roma (SUR, Italy), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM, Spain).

You will find more information on the MSCA postdoctoral programme here and on the CIVIS3i programme here.
